Jose Galvez and wife Maria Romero talk Monday, Sept. 17, 2024, about the bike accident with a motorist on Green Hill Circle in Gainesville that injured their son Mateo and killed his friend Carlos Herrera Espinal. Carlos and Mateo were riding on the same bicycle on Shallowford Drive when they entered the intersection of Green Hill Circle and struck the side of the truck, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
